Sikkim में जन्मीं Geetanjali ने अपनी स्कूली पढ़ाई Don Bosco School से की। उन्होंने अपना ग्रेजुएशन Kolkata से किया। इसके बाद उन्होंने मॉडलिंग इंडस्ट्री में काम करना शुरू किया। 2006 में उन्होनें English Short Film ‘Myth’ में एक्ट किया। 2007 में उन्होंने गुवाहाटी में हो रहे एक Beauty Pageant में Mega Miss North East का ख़िताब भी जीता।
