Brazil में जन्मीं Isabeli ने महज 13 साल की उम्र में 1996 के Elite Model Look के फाइनल में अपनी जगह बनाई और इसके बाद वह ब्राजील से Milan, Italy चली गयीं। 1999 में 16 वर्ष की उम्र में उन्होंने Victoria’s Secret lingerie catalogue के लिए एक फोटो-शूट किया लेकिन विक्टोरिया सीक्रेट के एक बयान के चलते इस फोटो शूट पर विवाद उत्पन्न हो गया। दरअसल विक्टोरिया सीक्रेट ने कहा था कि वे 18 से कम उम्र की मॉडल का उपयोग नहीं करेंगे।
