Mangaluru में जन्मीं Kavya ने अपने मॉडलिंग करियर की शुरुआत 2011 में “Femina Miss India” beauty pageant से की। इस कांटेस्ट में उन्होंने ‘Miss Photogenic’ का टाइटल जीता। 2011 में वे “Ford Super Model of the World – India” में फाइनलिस्ट भी रहीं। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने कई ब्रैंड्स के advertisements में भी काम किया है और इनमें Reliance Jewels, Malabar Gold, VBJ, Palam Silks, Psr and Club Mahindra, Clinic Plus, Toyota Altis, Santoor और TVS Victor शामिल हैं।
